Thornhill is a fairly modern area of Cardiff, in Wales, United Kingdom, with its housing development rapidly increasing in the 1990's. Tucked away in the area are a few historical sites which include the remnants of a castle known as Castell Morgraig.

Places of interest include the Thornhill Farm Shop, who's produce is all locally sourced and has a petting paddock where children are kept entertained with the likes of donkeys, goats, pigs and sheep.

This area has a well-serving transport system, providing easy access into the city centre.
