St Fagans lies on the banks of the River Ely and is an area of Cardiff, in Wales, United Kingdom. St Fagans is mostly famous for it being home to the St Fagans National History Museum, which opened in 1948.

There are more than forty original buildings at the open-air museum, all of which were dismantled and gently re-erected. The buildings include houses, a farm, school and chapel amongst other fascinating places of interest. Traditional crafts are showcased in workshops and there are vibrant festivals held here each year, popular to both locals and tourists alike.
