Roath is an area of Cardiff, in Wales, United Kingdom. With its Victorian terraced streets and tree-lined avenues, Roath consists of a diverse culture and is mostly home to students and young professionals.
Roath Park area is very popular with locals and tourists alike. It has an attractive lake which forms its focal point, especially with the lighthouse situated in the middle. The lighthouse is dedicated to the memory of Captain Scott who sailed from Cardiff in 1910 to the South Pole.
